Our Flagship Initiative
A Safe Place to Live. A Stronger Place to Begin.
A developing housing initiative focused on stability, dignity, and pathways to self-sufficiency. Conceptual rendering — The Village Project is under development.
The Vision
Reducing Homelessness Through Stable Housing
The Village Project is designed to help reduce homelessness by providing safe, stable housing and supporting residents as they move toward long-term stability and self-sufficiency.
More Than a Roof
Stability Creates Space for Possibility.
Safe housing can help people breathe, plan, rebuild confidence, pursue opportunities, and regain stability. When the immediate pressure of where to sleep is eased, room opens to think about what comes next.

The Story Behind the Vision
The Place I Lived Did Not Define the Purpose I Carried.
The Village Project is personal for me. When I first received the vision for Star Witness Programs, my name was on the waiting list for public housing with the Galveston Housing Authority.
As a young single mother, I needed a safe place for my family to live. I eventually moved into Cedar Terrace public housing in Galveston, Texas. It was there that Star Witness Programs was born.
I know what it means to need support while still carrying purpose, vision, and hope for your future. Having a safe place to live gave me room to breathe, think, plan, grow, and begin building the vision God had entrusted to me.
That experience has never left me. It is part of the heart behind The Village Project. My desire is not simply to place a roof over someone's head. I want to help create a stable foundation where individuals and families can regain their footing and begin moving toward self-sufficiency with dignity.
